On August 7, 2015 I received a letter from someone who heard about my book. Here is part of what that letter said.
“Please, send me a copy of your book SOLVING MEDICARE PROBLEM$. I am a self-employed senior citizen.”
It was a nice letter with some other complimentary comments. I will respond to her by telling her what I tell everyone: order the book through your favorite local or online book store. It is available through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other book retailers.
My book is not on the New York Times best seller list. It is not a romantic novel, or a science fiction fantasy, or an exciting western. But, it is a real life detective and hero book. It teaches how to be a detective to find Medicare related medical bill problems and be a hero to senior citizens who are being sent incorrect, wrongful, or fraudulent bills. It teaches how to help those seniors to save money by getting the medical bills corrected or reduced.
My book is more like a conversational text book. Text books don’t sell well except through colleges and schools. But, my book is not a “dry” text book. I wrote it with a bit of “hidden humor” to make the reading more enjoyable. I think that we learn better when we are having a bit of fun as we learn. I put a lot of thought into writing the book SOLVING MEDICARE PROBLEM$.
My main purpose was to teach others what I do so that they could help seniors all around America. I can’t possibly help everyone. In the book, I explain why I believe that senior citizens across America are being wrongfully billed OVER ONE BILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR BECAUSE OF MISTAKES IN THE MEDICARE SYSTEM. That does not include the money that is wasted through fraudulent Medicare related medical claims.
It is my hope that other insurance agents, attorneys, accountants, and worship leaders will care enough about helping and protecting senior citizens that they will get my book, learn the material, and start protecting the senior citizens in their communities. Will you be one of the people who accept this challenge?
Note: For over a dozen years, Woodrow Wilcox has been the senior medical bill case worker at Senior Care Insurance Services in Merrillville, Indiana. In his first seven and a half years at that firm, he saved senior citizen clients of that agency over one million dollars by correcting medical bill errors that were caused by mistakes in the Medicare system.
