On June 6, 2016, I spoke with the wife of a client from Chesterton who thanked me for my work to resolve a medical bill problem that could have cost her family $1,260.

The medical service provider was going through managers quickly. It seemed like new medical billing managers would get hired, try to fix the problems, get frustrated, and quit. My letters to the medical service provider did not result in corrective action until a new manager stayed and paid attention to my letters that cited the facts of billing problems. Then, the problems started getting fixed.

When the problem was fixed, the erroneous demand that our client pay $1,260 was dropped. Thus, by helping our client, we saved him $1,260.
