On December 8, 2016, I wrote a letter to a hospital in Florida for a client from Schererville, Indiana.  The client went to Florida for the previous winter and visited a hospital a few times while he was there.

Three bills totaling $641.52 never were paid to the hospital by the Medicare supplement insurance policy that he bought through this insurance agency.  I checked with his insurance company and learned that Medicare never sent the claims to it.

So, I wrote the letter to the hospital to explain this and request that the hospital send essential claims information directly to our client’s insurance company.  When that is done, I am confident that the bills for $641.52 will be paid by the client’s insurance company.

All the help that I gave this client was FREE OF CHARGE.  This insurance agency “goes the extra mile” for our senior citizen clients.  Does your insurance agent or agency give this high level of service to senior citizen clients?  If not, why not?
